From Lashes to Liner
ESQIDO’s mink lash game was strong, then they added Unisyn to their line, the world’s first true premium synthetic false eyelashes. Swoon alert! These eye lashes are mega glam, come in a wide range of styles and are super comfortable to wear, especially for me as a very picky, amateur lash-wearer.
This August, ESQIDO changed the game completely; launching their first foray into the realm of cosmetics with the “ESQIDO Liner”. According to ESQIDO, you can “experience the benefits of a gel eyeliner with the convenience of a sharpenable pencil. With intense color payoff, ultra-smooth glide, and a waterproof, long-lasting lightweight formula, the ESQIDO Liner is your new holy grail.” Source: Esqido.com
To say I was excited by this launch is an understatement, since being introduced to ESQIDO last fall, I have quickly gone “fan girl”. Their UNISYN line has made me a faux lash convert and they did not disappoint with their liners. The liners, which come in black and brown, are super smooth and easy to use. I did find that it was a bit more difficult to get a thin line with this liner versus a pencil or eyeliner pen initially. However, after having used the built-in sharpener, I was able to get a more precise application.
What do we look for in an eyeliner? I look for convenience. When I’m travelling for example, it’s nice to have an eyeliner with the sharpener attached, one less thing to remember! I look for pigmentation and a product that glides easily over the delicate skin of my eyelids. “The ESQIDO Eyeliner is specially formulated for all day wear, and to deliver continuous flow with smooth even lines.” Souce: Esqido.com . I also look for a product that will last. “Packed with product in a retracting mechanical body, combined with a silicon ring closure to provide an airtight seal, the eye liner is made to last.” Source: Esqido.com .
Finally, I look for an eyeliner with the safest ingredients possible, it is going on my skin after all! “The ESQIDO liner is 5-free and latex-free. Formulated WITHOUT formaldehyde, parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Fragrance free. Suitable for sensitive eyes.” Source: Esqido.com .
Bottom line, ESQIDO hit it out of the park with this product and for $10 USD (limited time launching price on their website, regular price $16 USD) you can’t go wrong! I’m very much looking forward to seeing what comes next. What will it be? Highlighter? Blush? Lipstick? The possibilities are endless.
